Salt and sleep

Sunday morning Too much salt yesterday and leftovers for breakfast do not help On bright side see the sleep timeline Saturday night Water is turned off by Seattle Public Utilities, so just GO TO BED and forget about .... Asleep just after 12 Sunday, Woke up about 6:30. Could have slept longer but time to roll. Friday night sleep or not: in bed shortly after 3 am. Awake and up shortly before 7 am. Aim to leave house by 8:30. Leave by about 9:30.

Full Moon Fish and Chips brussels Sprouts ad Bedtime

Thursday 3 am  to bed More of the Hannah Reese Teaching in Alaska book. Not entirely soothing... A little after 7 awake. Wednesday 1-30 to 6 6:15 to 8 Full moon a couple days ago: that probably explains... Usual tea but later in afternoon than usual. Fish and chips after worship. No, no more tea! Home Brussels sprouts at bedtime? Doze in chair. Wake up when Brussels sprouts smell done. Eat some. Doze some more in chair

Tuesday would be happier with more sleep

Sleep or not. At the STAR Center after SeaNight. Dozed and computer rebooted. Worked and watched videos. Finally made it to bed after 4. Cat had a go psycho for no reason apparent to the human moment and needed to attack my face. Frown HISS! Woke up about 7:30. Sigh. Happy Tuesday. After breakfast, decided to putter and make pumpkin custard.

Fresh Air Exercise Roommates Friday Saturday Sunday nights

Sunday: went to bed about 12:30. Woke up about 4:45. Thought of going back to bed but ate breakfast... lots of exercise Saturday: went to bed about10:30, woke up at 3:45. Peed. Went back to bed. Woke about 4:45. Peed. Went back to bed. Woke up final time at 5:45. Ate rest of cantaloupe. lots of exercise Friday: went to bed about 12:30. Roommates for two nights Woke up about 6(?) Room was TOO WARM. So shower, dress etc

Out of town for a couple nights and may or may not collect sleep details. At a gathering where usually I sleep longer than at home. But shared sleeping space so if I wake up with muscles all cramped up, I tend to get up and pace in the larger common space. So in the meantime, some Victor Jara, about sleeping, trust me.

Wednesday night and Thursday ask the cat

Home about 10. Cat decided she needed to curl up in my arms and we both fell asleep in chair. Woke up about 12:30 and again about 1:30 and in bed a little after 2. Woke up about 7 and needed to get up. Could have slept longer but breakfast and shower and work stuff before bus to meeting. tea two small cups of coffee at meeting. Coffee making me tired later? Home after meeting. Lunch was eggplant rice tahini combo same as yesterday, milk cookies, squares of chocolate. later afternoon and really wanted a nap. Note to self: about that exercise bicycle and / or walking desk.... Further note: teeth. eyes. Call Bastyr

Monday to Tuesday. 5.5 hours plus a NAP

Went to sleep about 2 am. It's cooler so snuggling in blanket seems on point. Woke up at 7:30 am. Oatmeal, potato, egg, yogurt, salsa Appointment in Fremont at noon. Tons of to-dos in email but write sleep diary and maybe reading overabundance rant.... Eyes all itchy and watery. Less itch with glasses off. Whole left side of face sorer than right. Teeth. Eyes. Counselor says check out Bastyr clinic for LOTS of things. REALLY good idea. Must call tomorrow. Sunflower bits and pomegranate fig bar on bus Pizza for the vegetables, but VERY tired after. Bus home.Take an ibuprofen  TAKE NAP. sleep 4-5:30 Dinner: more chicken and barley stew, tea, blueberries, Nutella. Is the broken out eyes dairy? Chocolate / coffee? Just too much on plate? Enquiring minds would kind of like to sort it out and reserve the right to be cross with body making demands I do not want to deal with.

Saturday Sunday rolled toward Monday

Sun No computer after getting back from dinner at Mom's. Also almost missed bus stop but thank you driver for letting me off at the intersection while stopped at the light Sun evening sleep in chair. Bedtime 2:00 am, awake 7:30 am. woot. more than 5 hours! Could actually have slept longer but needed to mop floor. Still more cleaning to do. Sat 12:30 or was it1 to 5:30.  Would have had time to go back to bed but I think I got sucked into Twitter.

Friday night at not email

Maybe what is important: no back to computer lab after going home at 7. Lots of carbs for lunch. Sandwiches. Baked chips, grapes, brownies. Leftover sandwich for dinner, potato with margarine later. Tea or end of the starbucks coffee bottle? Cannot remember. Does not seem to have affected the fall asleep in the chair trends. Bed about 1:30 am Awake about 6:30 Was going to hurry and eat and shower and wash stockings and do email. Then was going to bus to Mercer Island. Then changed mind and went for mail and thought about Kirkland but phone trip planner gods were frowning. Wednesday Thursday Now it's Friday

Thursday I think I was thirsty and drank a good bit of iced team Watched / listened to comedy videos on phone for awhile. Somehow phone as media experience puts me to sleep more easily than I would prefer. bed after 1:30 am Awake about 6 am Wednesday early supper at building picnic midweek worship trader joe's Coffee at 9 pm bad idea fish sandwich and side salad. Buttermilk at home Water at home sleep in chair for awhile. Bed about 12:30? Awake at 6:30 am?

Two nights in a row and now it's Wednesday

Tuesday night. Home from a meeting about 8:30. Talk to Mom from breezeway for awhile. Hungry? Decided needed to go home and aim for fruit or vegetable. Grapes. Dates, a bottle of sugary soda. Meant to go write more email. Doze in chair until like 1:30. am Awake about 6:00 am. Probably could have slept longer but pee, feed the cat, decide on breakfast. Monday night: Skipped the blind people in a bar and Did laundry. Party! App still has unlabeled fields but I managed to file another out of order report. Done about 1 am. Home and in bed by maybe 1:30 Awake about 6.

Monday Monday

Cup of earl Grey tea at Mom's with dinner. Home from dinner after 8. Wired. Got off one bus stop past regular stop. Lots of construction. It would have been smarter just to ride the bus a few stops further to a place to cross Rainier safely and then come back. But it was getting toward Sunday night 30 minute headway. Call Mom. Tweet a couple personal tweets. Sleep in chair. Wake up once at 10:30. Wake up again at 12:30, 1:30 Decide to take a shower. In bed close to 2:00 Wake up about 6:55. Dreams. Weird dreams but at least a dream.

Sleepy Saturday with 4 am Tweets

Sleepy Saturday Afternoon memorial. (LOTS of people contact and plenty of food) Safeway: shredded chicken to go with broth from the other day. Home, put groceries away Decide to make soup: barley, veggies, mushrooms, chicken Put soup away and sit down. Keep meaning to go type stuff but it never happens. Read Coord comm minutes and mean to go type stuff. About 12:30 wake up enough to go to bed. Wake up at 2 am. Hungry enough to eat cottage cheese, nutella, and drink my water bottle full of tea. Twitter. Yes the hashtag #4amTweets is a thing and yes, more than one Twitter handle I see regularly is also tweeting. Finally go back to bed a little before 5. Wake up about 7:45 in time to eat hard boiled egg and rice cakes with salsa and chees and to get dressed and get bus. Less centered than I would prefer. Adult ed turns out to be worthwhile in spite of... coffee with half and half. I am fine with just skim milk.

Friday rolling into Saturday. YEs the timestamp is real

Thursday evening: Fun jazz concert at retirement home RantMom is considering. Home Metro 62 + 7 Fun to note all the walkable neighborhoods the 62 passes through. Good bus conversation bus food: raisins and sunflower seed bites 9:30 Half of Fit hit bowl with habanero.  water Must have dozed while doing videos on phone Bed 1:30 up 6:30 note: slept well in spite of evening menu Breakfast:  Raisin Bran hard boiled egg. Intend to do laundry but forgot laundry soap the first time. By the time down again, already a line. Back to late night laundry but not tonight (Friday) Drank morning tea after second trip to / from laundry room. Sad (?) exercise note: one walk to / from trash recycling, to walks to laundry room. two walks to the STAR Center. Not really enough exercise. Also bottle of Starbucks coffee with extra milk added  for lunch. Now wired but not just the coffee. Weird mix of wired and centered. Oh and TWO people from STAR are awake at this hour too.

Sleeping Waking Thursday Morning

 a needed meeting postponed again Wednesday worship. sleep: 12:30 am Wake                 4:30 am Back to bed, doze 6:00 am Wake and up again 6:30 am Breakfast in here. Back to bed 7:30 am  Wake which means sleep 8:30 Somewhere nearer a desirable total.

Labor Day, Therapy Bunnies, Tuesday

There was some bus bunny from Twitter who helps its human sleep but that thread got eaten by electronic vissisitudes. So on to Tuesday Iced bottle of Starbucks coffee and milk. Sucked on ice all evening Nothing to eat after supper Bedtime about 1 I think. Awake about 6. Breakfast but no caffeine. Back to bed about 8:15. caught a FEW minutes of sleep but decided at 9:00 that today's sesame street word is privilege and I need to deal with every single scary disheveled element that tumbled out of a writing exercise and that was keeping me awake. Stay woke or something.

Sunday / Monday. Woke?

Sunday home from Mom's about 8:30 groceries at QFC, walks to from bus. Then head to Mom's. Cross Rainier at Walden Sat on breezeway doing Sudoku, being grateful, staring into space for a good while. Midnight and then 12:30. Just GO TO BED. Everything on my mind will still be there in the morning. Wake up at 4:30. WTF? Use restroom. Feed cat. Breakfast. Need to look at calendar on computer. Feel like a slug. Try to go back to bed. It's 8:30 now. If ... I can sleep till 10. Greatly to be hoped.

Saturday sleep Sunday

Saturday night sleep Meetup early. 1 person but two hours talking about transit. Nerds! Went to Taco time for lunch. Picnic. Ride to park. Walk up and down over hill and dale and along paths I am a weenie about. Arrived exercised. Several good conversations. Walk out of park on paved road from S end of park. Headed to bus stop but Friends from neighborhood offered a ride and let me yak most of the way home. Went to computer lab. This and that, writing, blogging. Videos. I think I was dozing when the computers rebooted at midnight. McCain Memorial videos. Suddenly 2 am. Then 2:30 Asleep fast. Wake up a little before 7. Time for breakfast and shower but not go back to bed. Memo to self: get own computer in working order or get a new one.

Friday and Saturday so far

For some GD reason up till 3 and then to bed. Up at 7 on Friday. Morning Twitter several hours intermittently while turning the pot of lima beans on the stove and other ingredients into food. Digression to update to Android 9 on phone. That could have waited.... Never did make it out of the apartment. Washed dishes. Cookedthe chicken legs in the fridge. More Twitter. Phone calls. Shower and wash hair. Barley chicken stew for dinner, peanut butter and cherry jam on toast and also ice cream bar but nothing to eat after about 7:30. Thought of taking compost out but already getting dark by 8. More exercise tomorrow. Fell asleep in chair after shower. Woke up and went to bed about 12:30. Woke up about 5:50. Woot. 5 + hours of sleep. Probably could have slept longer but up, pee, feed the cat and then breakfast and Twitter instead of back to bed. Need to get an exercise bike or a pedal desk.
