 Something like 3:55 hours of sleep.


Amazing how an hour of conversation reconnecting with a long divorced aunt can be both AMAZING and triggering. Both of us shared of seeing and having opinions we did not know what to do with.


Sounds like part of the picture was some next level small town soap opera and part of it was me saying "oh, I can absolutely see my mother doing...."


But the main thing is some cousins finally met after decades. It was rewarding to have aunt thank me for helping bring that along.

Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
