It would not necessarily occur to me to arrange this piece thus, but since it's here, enjoy?


I spent less than an hour trying to sleep in bed and at least 3 hours falling asleep in chairs at various times of the day.

I had washed hair and changed sheets. Probably I should have made sure my blinds were a little more closed.

NO, I did not get much done in the way of chores but I had a couple good conversations.

I did change calendars and water plants before the Christmas cactuses get to have their annual September drought.

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
