Brother in law's birthday so Mom got the whole fam together over a meal. It all worked. I have enough leftovers for two days. Yeah leaftovers.

Awesom thunderstorm this morning.

Shitty bus accident this afternoon. Glad I was not travelling that way today because I could easily have been on the affected bus.

Also Twitter news of a protest evokes adrenalin of past protests and BORING grouchiness about what point are people trying to make?

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
