Thanksgiving because it's WAY too early for the commercial world's approach to Christmas and gratitude is always in order.

 Somewhere over 5 hours of sleep in bed and of course I should have gone to bed earlier.


I had some snarky phrase on my mind for a title but how about instead a nice graphic from one of my sources of problematic email. The words, not usually the pictures. even though it's early for the holiday, go for the exuberance.

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
