The Monday after+ access needs

Somewhere over 5 hours of sleep total. This includes 1.5 hours napping in a chair, about 45 minutes half asleep before getting up, eating breakfast and having enough sugar buzz to go back to sleep for another 3 hours.

Note to self: when people ask about access needs acknowledge that FOLLOWUP is on point.

Part of sleep disruption was watching the dawn light creep in and grab big chunks of content that need more interaction than on e 5-minute scenario in Oops Ouch Whoa world..

The "Oh I tested positive" tidings from ACB Convention have slowed to a trickle and Twitter also has comments about NFB Covid-Palooza. Yeah. And everyone seems to be recovering quickly. True confession: I still have not tested AT ALL. Wear mask. Blame the media reports and KC Public Health reports that one might test negative and still be positive. Blame BA5. Blame the afterthoughts aspect of the first out ofteh chute approach to accessibility.

PS It's nice to be back in a place where masking is way more the norm.

A cart full of boxes and plastic bags
Saddling up and moving out.

While I was gone my longtime next door neighbor both had a stroke and tested positive for COVID. His sister was clearning out his apartment and I talked to her. He is in a SNF and will be going to Assisted Living. His sister said she just had an inkling and called. He said he couldn't lift his right arm and she called 911. She and I agree actually things might be better in a good assisted living situation. I will very much miss the things he was competent and very engaged about. Maybe enough said.
