Another one bites the dust and another and still another but not yet.

A good seven hours of sleep counting going back to bed. after a bite to eat and tylenol. Ouches are doing better and at least I know enough now to take Tylenol instead of just getting depressed about pain.

The main guts of the CPAP still don't work. I called and left a message. Interesting that I am managing to sleep longer without.

A Christmas tree
and
a Christmas lamp

I did not ask for Christmas tree a friend insisted on delivering, and I am very grateful for hugs in the dropoff and for motivation to clear space on the desk. Rock and roll and see what's next. ORnaments might or might not happen.

I went out to PT and did not need opportunities to rant about pedestrian issues around the new light rail station, but God is bountiful anyway.

Physical therapist is from somewhere Russian. I did not ask. She was very encouraging about stretching and helped me come at the catch the cord in the door exercises from a different angle. Plus I get to do a slide across the table stretch that would legit get frowned on if it weren't PT. And 45 minutes of one mix of aerobic and stretching was doable but ouchie leg complained after. Good thing it was time for more tylenol

As for the biting the dust. Email today is still full of "mad at God" from a WCB member who just yesterday lost husband due to pancreatic cancer. There is some medical narrative that sounds problematic but since the widow shows up on more lists than many people consider sensible there is also LOTS of warmth flowing as she grieves.

Other email death notice came in while I was on the bus. Forwarding email on the bus is not necessarily a zone of tact and nuance and choice of recipients ...well...

And in a heroic gesture of ... I learned someone is on hospice in time to pay respects BEFORE memorial. Oh happy day and joyous holidays and tirade about the first amendment and state employees NOT wishing people a metty christmas.
