Again blind people on Zoom Who cares about body odor?

    6 ish hours of sleep!

And showered and mostly dressed in time for the 9 am rituals, some of which didn't happen because of technical difficulties. The pledge, the prayer, the national anthem. I think the prayer happened but before I got there.

It's annual state blind people convention time.

I wound up deciding just to do the first part on phone, braid hair, not hurry  about walking across the slippery breezeway. I have to be on camera for a little bit. I could put on the semi professional black sweater over a recent year convention T-shirt but I may just stick with the GPS coordinates hoodie.

Virtual product demos are actually better than noisy exhibit area and I already see tech I want and prices low enough to feel practical.

Next young food delivery vendor rep probably has no idea that a now deceased member of our group was instrumental in a campaign to get co to do braille catalogs. Sounds like maybe the braille catalog has been discontinued. Vendor rep is also into screen share. Oh and in Q&A one of the accessibility goddesses says the app is inaccessible and delivery in her area has been discontinued and some of the delivery packaging is not recyclable or returnable. Yes! Talk to the vendors directly, tell them real experience and then I get less twitchy about high proportion of vendor presentations this year.  And can vegans find anything they want? And person, erk, state president who previously talked about site accessibility rolled back comment: she just browses and then orders by phone.

PS Drama of the day: some sort of miscreant malfeasance in the laundry room. Cops were called after someone heard someone crashing around in the laundry room. Next step: change all the locks in the building. I am white and English speaking and got what is going on. Nice women with limited English who I saw in elevator coming back from trying to do their laundry later are confused. I hope the no laundry equipment situation does not last long.

How does one say cretinous miscreant in Quakerese anyway?
