The Annual Haircut

 Five hours of sleep.


I wanted breakfast before I got to my only clear liquids window before a CT scan.

After haircut
Yes indeed it was one step too far to try to watch a city council hearing on my phone with an IV in my arm. Oh well. And it would be good not to have too many tasks come in email on top of what is already there.


Everybody in many parts of the Seattle medical world is dealing with migration to EPIC. People in radiology where all atwitter. Other departments seemed less flustered. My doctor thinks it will be fine but take some getting used to. My blind nurse turned discharge planner is hanging in barely.


Tests are more narrative. Nothing obvious to do except watch for now.


Trip home made me want to scream "Stop enabling car addiction!" In same conversation streams as urban pols who equate recovery with make more space for cars. What if Build Back better meant safe continuous travel networks for all modes? Oh wait. I repeat myself...


I should do laundry. I can squeak by a couple more nights.
