Almost NINE hours of sleep

The chicken needed to be baked. That took until 2 am, I woke up after 8. I had hoped to get a shower before sessions started at 9.

Good thing it was a webinar. Don't tell anyone I went back to bed or what percentage of the session I slept through (most of it--sigh)

Yes usually convention sessions suggest business attire.

The shower happened at 5 pm after elections.

I would have ignored the banquet except I was getting an award for advocacy.

Not sorry I stuck around for the speech.

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
