Five whole hours of sleep in one spell without even any noise to fall asleep to.
It helps to have enough water in the CPAP machine.
It's tempting to just sit in the latenight quiet on the breezeway but bed is a much better idea.
Walking the breezeway probably helped. So do the 10-15 minutes of light aerobics in the morning. Can't remember whether i did the anti-plantar fasciitis stretch or the free weights but routine routine.
Today's humor: see if I can get the hashtag #RealSeattleRiots trending on Twitter. The idea is to post pictures of things that are perfectly normal and beautiful to counter all the riots chatter in the national press.
Morning food prep rampage: start some lima beans soaking, inventory larder and pay attention to dried legumes supplies. Next iteration of Ratatouille and whole wheat macaroni. Quinoa cocoa bites. Grateful to be well-fed and even to have extra eggs donated by neighbor who had not room in her fridge. Sometimes I tell her just put extra stuff in the lobby. There are clearly people worse off, but if they don't pick up lentils after 24 hours... Humble, grateful.
Need to ask neighbor about preferences as far as yelling heard in a foreign language. Hold in Light
Got delivered package with either one or two new masks. Package says Seattle Housing Authority. No idea what that's about but guessing based on history.
Happy to see one email had intended effect. Humble about insight and glad there is someone with the right communications gifts and more cheerful spirit to run with it. I also wish she were a tiny bit more persuadable about some intercultural stuff. Annoyed sometimes by her project management approaches but she does keep things moving. Being a grownup is so overrated sometimes.
The View out my window No pigeons in the window box so kitty may be bored |
Exercise: 1.5 hours of food prep rampage with about 4 meals emerging.
Walk breezeway 8-10 times. I lost count. Better than 0.
Nutrition: cabbage onions and ham for dinner with pineapple juice and roasted potato slices: upside of not having found the right place for micro with actual tactile controls but is 1/2" too tall for under cupboard is that RantWoman roasts potatos. Much better flavor.
Other food prep rampage items: hard boiled eggs because Chief Morale Officer at the Computer lab already has two dozen and got two dozen more in today's food bank. I do not get food bank but I do welcome leftovers. And hard boiled eggs are awesome.
Also ratatouille with whole wheat pasta and time to survey larder and think whehter some staples like dried beans one could just buy more of ahead of likely price increases.
Late night snack: saltines, BUTTER, and grapes. I am a grownup I probably should have walked the breezeway some more instead.
