Bank robbers?
Some kind of decent sleep total 4+ hours in bed and several more hours in the evening dozing in various places too close to slug bait even to get the trash and compost taken out. That will keep for tomorrow.
Taking out the trash will make a weird start to my birthday, but it will beat both going to court (twice, no THREE TIMES for different reasons) and flying to MT to tend to Mom in connection with hysterectomy and cancer treatment. Other highlights of the MT trip: things to do with meeting my brother for lunch and then walking home. I have no memory of where brother went except not to Mom's. I think I already had the detached retina in my already worse eye because the wind and the dust were not the only thing making the walk seem out of balance and even less clear visually than I was used to. I did not actually figure out I had a detached retina until September while I was riding back from some retreat at Seabeck and for some reason decided to cover my good eye.
What cheerful meditations.
I made my mother get a care committee too. I explained to people mostly from her church what care committees are and they immediately thought of about 5 people who needed one. I also made her ask her siblings for help. I am SO glad I made her deal with that because I was supposed to go back to MT but I could not fly because of the detached retina surgery. But mom's two sisters were HEROES and her youngest sister talks about how much she learned from reading at the library while Mom was getting chemo and ...
I think I have recounted some of this stuff before and I would never in the least mind if someone acknowledged having previously encountered the info.
As for the bank robber image, there is a new PCC in my old long time ago 'hood. There were lots of well-off white people shopping there on Sunday. Mask use was way more consistent tnan other places. Everyone still looked like bank robbers. Not like decent visual cues are anywhere near a happening thing anyway...
