Crossword puzzle
SIX plus hours of sleep.
Achieved by:
--four hours in bed plus breakfast plus going back to bed for 2+ hours
--falling asleep before last drink of water, finding sleep pill, or finding thumb drive with audio books, not to mention reading psalm in braille.
--Exercise of journey to downtown Target in quest for microwave. Everything there either too large or too small with the side of the box in Spanish on display. Also considered just getting a stovetop oven like a toaster oven. And decided to skip microwave popcorn until I actually get a microwave.
--great quaker call earlier in the day and one yesterday and not looking too hard at data usage numbers: at some point telecomm provider is going to want MONEY to maintain....
--two+ hours of hanging out in blind zoom, hopefully making more good local connections, sharing useful info, meditating about absurdities of local rental market and ways for things to shake out if more people go to remote work.
--Memo to self: look for new accessible online scrabble. Look for it. Look for it!
--Spending THREE whole hours and getting ALL THE WAY THROUGH the entire NYT Sunday crossword puzzle but also collecting too dang much data about complexity of navigation if one wants to make the puzzle more accessible both in terms of navigation and in terms of solving strategies which depend partly on navigation. Will RantWoman ever write code about all this? probably not, but...
Now awake, caffeinated, sort of. Trying to decide whether eye things are something to worry about or just average. GOOD MORNING world.
