Grownup?

Ugh.

Made it to bed before 3. Woke up a little after 6. Pee. Eat banana and drink some water. Feed the cat.

BACK TO BED. Somewhere over another hour. Lie in bed and be warm at least. Not sure how much actual sleep happened. Finally got up to deal with nasal congestion. Heated the morning porridge. Sometimes I just eat the day's container cold. Added more milk and also more brown sugar.

Now the recap:

(note issue about short sleep and falling asleep in places I would prefer not to; mix in snacking food issues. Sigh.)

Meeting in afternoon in Bellevue. Bus to Redmond library to await ride to evening alumni event. Decent but not huge number of walk segments. Glad the bus worked.

Alumni event was oddly energizing including various ride issues. Woman who picked me up at the library gave me a ride, picked up 2 other riders,  finally let one of the other passengers drive the last little bit. She has eye night vision issues and is of an age and probably a cash flow level that does not do smartphones. I hope she was able to follow someone out as she headed home. She connected me with a ride back to Seattle and it was really FUN to hear current campus reputation of the coop where I lived.

Another F(f)riend called: in the neighborhood. Ham and avocados. Can she come by? I am still out of her fav tea. I decided to throw the ham in boiling water to desalinate at least a little and to go ahead and mash the avocados with garlic and lime juice.

Bone in ham so I ultimately decided to start Split pea soup. When I could have gone to bed. And then have a good yak, eat / share some avocado mash and chips.

Add a sudoku, Guess how it got to be almost 3 before i was asleep.

Breakfast when I finally got up besides oatmeal, hard boiled egg and also had some avocado toast with last night's avocado mash.

Morning Twitter. Also tried to work up enthusiasm to scrub floor. Dang balcony police though. Awhile ago I left my mop on the balcony to try instead of just cranking out mold while it dried in my apt. Put it out on a Friday. forget to reclaim before staff returned on Monday. Oops.

This time: 3 dead heirloom tomato plants and a lovely Christmas tree have disappeared. Mleah!.

Now it's 1 pm. Lots of computer lab folks are on vacation so I get to open. Lab is warm. Tummy is full of soup for lunch. It would be easy to nap but instead i can go out in lobby, be cold, move.

Now schedule schedule schedule and tend to things I need computer and connectivity to do.
