Tumeric curry, tuna casserole, cane tips

The thing with sleep: sometimes the more one has the more one could just stay in bed. Once RantWoman gets up though, the benefits of moving and breathing frequently outweigh the benefits of going back to bed.

RantWoman is a little fuzzy on when she made it to bed. Somewhere around 2 and up after 7 so hanging in at 5+ hours. Try to go to bed earlier. Try.

Went shopping at Uwajimaya; Malaysian YUMMY curry for dinner plus after shopping gooey glutinous rice and coconut milk sweets. That should have been enough but late night snacking included whole grain goldfish crackers, raisins and small potatoes nuked. Effect did not disturb sleep as much as other things to eat. Just the winter carbs effect. That and get vegetables other places because Uwaji downtown is getting expensive.

Morning chores and why not back to bed:

--Change cat litter completely. Overdue

--Replace hook roller tips on two canes. Need to make name tag for the one with the better red tape. NO I did not need 50 yards of red tape when i was ordering cane tips. Yes, need to figure out how to make the push on tips work with the bungee cord replacement.

--Make tuna casserole with the celery I bought yesterday, mushrooms from the fridge, whole wheat macaroni, white pepper. Food for days.

--Holiday chat with blind friend: her guide dog got attacked on Monday by a Rottweiler whose human said "he's never done that before." YUCK! Dog and human are recovering. Dog is getting to an age where he gets to retire but human does not want to do right now.

--Arm is whining a little bit. Arm can almost carry purse, but between Christmas present toting and grocery shopping, arm suggests maybe cutting back a little. Whine. I need my arm!

--Have an RFP to read and a Development office thank you to write. So procrastinate by making tactile graphics menorahs: Good grief there are a lot of images of 6-candle menorahs that turn up for a search.
