3.4 hours of sleep.

Going back to bed would have been an option that did not happen.

Also did not happen: some needed phone calls.

This morning I was all set to pen a post about "Friends don't let friends commit genocide"referencing a couple media moments including a nut job telling very articulate free palestine support Mehdi Hasan "I hope your pager doesn't go off."

Tonight I am tired and I don't know what nerves are too fried to herd that thought into something digestible.

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
