Happy Pi Day


Yup,. COmposition leaves something to be desired and auto advice from camera was not much help, especially since I partly wanted to know where the #$#*@ the chain saw noise was coming from

5.9 hours of sleep


and more importantly somewhere in the range of reasonable business hours schedule. Until one gets to the part about morning TWitter habit


anda an hour visiting with a friend about dogs. Friend is still VERY traumatized from a car vs dog and ped event 3 years ago. Friend's wife would really like another dog. MAYBE the conversation planted seeds. Enough good reasons to have a dog if only to protect chickens and deter rats / racoons from taking up residence


Mom is a little bummed. Both chief nurse and social worker at retirement community are moving on to other things. Mom does not realize how much work with social worker helped and now feels alone about coping with need further to downsize, figure out where to move. All of us are dreading and feeling stuck.  And no, I am not spending my evening hours fishing for opetions, for one thing because I am not getting the day tasks done either.


Ramadan kareem to all who celebrate including neighbors who are cooking and eating at odd hours except tonight maybe with other friends. 


And forget my friends with their dog differences of opinion. I want CAT and herb garden so the least I could do is research cat friendly herb garden.


And really I could use a care committee except the last one thought they were done long before I thought they were done and lacks capacity for certain things.


But today was blind people networking.

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. And for exercise I will ride under desk bike to nowhere for awhile at an hour too late to be a good idea. Also I MUST scrub floor and wrangle refrigerator life forms. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
