Fragrantly violated

I made it to about 5 hours of sleep.


Before bed I was watching educational enlightening material--as well as the bilge of the day.


Marjorie Taylor Greene is worried about January 6 defendants' rights being "FRAGRANTLY" violated.  So she's an illiterate lightning rod. It would be nice to be able to speak about that without cruelty. Maybe she's dyslexic. Maybe there's some other hidden thing going on. Dwelling on her vocabulary exists in my brain in the same no-go zone as making fun of Melania's English--UNLESS the observer can also do press interviews in their third or fourth language. Plus there's also that line between content and presentation. Her content would still be nuts even if her word choice were more idiomatic.


It was a gorgeous day and every day seems like a good day to neglect household chores.

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. And for exercise I will ride under desk bike to nowhere for awhile at an hour too late to be a good idea. Also I MUST scrub floor and wrangle refrigerator life forms. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
