4.5 hours of sleep.


I would have had time before my 9 am techno zoom to go back to bed after feeding the cat, but Ring, ring. Caller ID says Omaha Transit.


Yes indeed a trip to Omaha is on the horizon. And the woman on the phone was responding to an email inquiry. She was so kind that I did not even grumble out of my bleary-eyed fog about "Do you know what time it is here?"

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. I did not HAVE to start the second puzzle.   Up before 6.   5 ish hours and I cannot go back to bed both because of the impending floor stripping and waxing in my hall and because I have a meeting at 10 and have to allow travel time.   Also headache. Partly tension but breakfast and fluids helped a lot.   Surprisingly lethargic after getting used to more sleep.   Email from Whole Life Challenge. Suggesting an hour a day screen free. OK. So now I get to feel burdened because I did not get more audiobooks downloaded yesterdayand I really really do not want audiobooks on my screen devices. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
