5 hours of sleep. I woke up an hour before the first Wednesday zoom. No point in trying to go back to sleep.


Quaker / methodist bible study with a theme of earthcare. An interesting space.


And then broadband nerds where I wish the cumulative skin tone were a lot less monochromatic.


My sister is in the hospital again. This time she has some kind of palatial quarters on the transplant floor. Considering the issue is sepsis and pneumonia an interesting choice but she definitely likes it better than what she called the broom closet before. We just got started on an Important family Topic and her nurse came in or something and it was time for my zoom.


The sartorial comment includes pink flowers, pink shirt and aqua sweater. I don't care what anyone thinks of the color coordination. If anyone complains I will be too happy to go on at length about The Laundry Situation., as in DRAMA and need probably because of thieving vandals to go to debit card payment. And staff slowly coming back except of course they are new and Problems Built UP during the lockdowns.


It's rainy outside and the time of year when the sidewalks are full of slippery leaves that hide the cane cues. Do not forget nylon rain coats which wile thin and compressible when not being worn have no friction when being worn while someone needs to carry something.

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. And for exercise I will ride under desk bike to nowhere for awhile at an hour too late to be a good idea. Also I MUST scrub floor and wrangle refrigerator life forms. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
