The BaroqueContrabassoon vid can wait. Today it's the New Pedestrian Bridge

Close to 6 hours of sleep partly because I went back to bed after breakfast.

What did I get done in the morning besides a shower and tweeting about #WhiteCaneDay?

Afternoon was light rail themed. First meet a young journalist to talk about at-grade light rail crossings. I am not crazy about them but so far they are manageable and the reason I don't go to the Sodo station very often has to do with both crappy sidewalks in the area and no must-visit destinations than with the crossings.

Next, first visit to the Northgate station. It took some fogging around to find the elevator and I decided to do the, um, INTERESTING walk on the pedestrian bridge over the freeway. East of the freeway the bridge has no guard rails only some kind of net fencing which I kind of assume has to be stronger that it looks at first terrifying glance. The freeway is REALLY LOUD but the west end of the bridge is nice. Probably next time I will just find the bus connections.

Oh and I have another video from Mr. Contrabassoon Esoterica. Somehow it's soothing to distract oneself from the present with musical instruments of earlier centuries.
