 a respectable 5 hours of sleep. 


More would have been good but it takes a depressingly long time to get ready in the morning and I told SCYMF Quakers I would be Zoom cheerleader for their annual Session. GOOD call well worh my time even in spite of sleep limitations. And SCYMF folks were SO grateful

Photo is accidental mishap while eating a sandwich in the sun and waiting for a bus. I was hungry and neededsome exercise after a long day of Zooming. So I grabbed the first bus and wound up with MEAT on white bread and an extremely nutritious bottle of Mango etc. juice that will last about 4 says considering dilution.


Not sure how the photo happened but while I ate my sandwich about 10 cop cars showed up further along Jackoon. Twitter feed says some kind of collision but not obvious what they needed so many cop cars for.


One more thing in case anyone needs musical silliness Boogie Woogie Quarantine  From a few months ago. Basically we're all sitting around on teh couch. We can't go anywhere We can't even go to the store because we have no money. SO I'll play you this boogie woogie...and when they liftthe4 quarantine invite your girlfriend over to dance the Boogie Woogie. Performing Jazz in Russia is nowhere near as dangerous as it was in early Soviet times when jazz was considered very "cosmopolitan."

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. And for exercise I will ride under desk bike to nowhere for awhile at an hour too late to be a good idea. Also I MUST scrub floor and wrangle refrigerator life forms. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
