Daffodils

 I achieved about 5 hours of sleep AGAIN.


Today no hair-washing but my First World problem of the day: I bought bananas the other day at Grocery Outlet. They were nice and green and I expected them to ripen. They are still nice and green. After awhile green stops being nice. 


These are Atlanta daffodils. They put a body in mind of an old blog post about daffodils and cigarette butts. Neverthe less I am glad spring is on the way.

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. I did not HAVE to start the second puzzle.   Up before 6.   5 ish hours and I cannot go back to bed both because of the impending floor stripping and waxing in my hall and because I have a meeting at 10 and have to allow travel time.   Also headache. Partly tension but breakfast and fluids helped a lot.   Surprisingly lethargic after getting used to more sleep.   Email from Whole Life Challenge. Suggesting an hour a day screen free. OK. So now I get to feel burdened because I did not get more audiobooks downloaded yesterdayand I really really do not want audiobooks on my screen devices. But at least I am journaling.   And by the way, RantWoman really should read the upgrade notes for Zoomtext. Really. RantWoman HATES the current version of Twitter. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more. This blog is partly intended to collect data in hopes that RantWoman can settle on some steady practices to help her get more sleep. What time does RantWoman fall asleep?
