Did the floor get waxed?

 Somewhere close to 7 hours of sleep counting going back to bed after breakfast.


Unless floor got stripped and waxed while I was asleep, it didn't happen today.


Sigh. That means another day of schedule kink. 


I made ratatouille minus the zucchini and also beans and rice including the rest of my butternut squash. So I will be well fibered and well tomatoed.


I finally took my Christmas presents upstairs. I had ambitions about also doing things that needed the food processor mixer combo but that did not happen.


And I want an $1800 20 character braille display for when I am tired of listening to things. Never mind my pitifully slow braille reading rate. So now I will read for my book group on my hand me down iPad. Technology and literacy are SO much fun.


But Cross fingers. We are just over 15 hours from a new president.

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
