Blame the tea?

4.5 hours of sleep. No going back to bed turned out not to be feasible but phone calls got needed medical thing and required pre event COVID test all scheduled.

This total despite doing the NYT crossword puzzle early, getting to bed earlier than average, having enough of the book to fall asleep even though the talking book reader bleated out "batt'ry low" when turned on, and fully intending to sleep longer.

Okay so the morning tea got drunk about 9 pm AND there was snacking after the trip to Taco Time and Bartells. So maybe food had something to do with things. Maybe but sometimes its impact is more obvious.

Anyway, today to ensure a more satisfactory level of exercise, I made TWO pots of things and did the dishes. On the menu the porridge of the week with the scavenged out of date milk and steel cut oats and NUTRITIONAL yeast which I had been missing before the trip to the CO-op. Also a brown rice chicken basil mushroom brew that made about 6 servings counting lunch.

Go off about pronouns? Nah....

Meditation on pharmaceutical points: awhile ago I had actually really helpful telemedicine visit. Options were something for sleep that starts to work quickly or option that takes longer and also handles anxiety. So far:

--CAN clearly get reasonable amounts of sleep sometimes without help.

--chose first option.

--Tried it ONCE and did not like feeling fuzzy headed in the morning

--Am reluctant to try when I am going to bed too late.

--pharmacy refilled it automatically without asking me. Good think I do not have a giant copay.

PS data point added about toddler across the hall: going back to bed did not happen because toddler's grandmother needed to go to work. Toddler's mother was not home from something that involved a friend and a car getting towed and ... Toddler was left asleep and one door of apt left unlocked in case RantWoman heard toddler wake up and cry. RantWoman would have called grandma if toddler woek up for one thing because RantWoman and cat cannot take care of boy except in more extreme emergencies than this was. Also RantWoman and toddler need to converse more in English so more than prefunctory communication can occur. RantWoman thinks Grandma left at light 8:45. Mom got home somewhere 9:30-9:45. Toddler did not wake up during that time and after turning on music, Mom came to tell me she was home.  Data point noted in case future reference is needed. Next steps talk to Mom. If it happens again, mom, grandma, ... building social worker...
