Unicorns barfing Rainbows, ice water, and ....

Sleep: about two hours asleep in chair and almost 4 more in bed. I should have gone back to bed.

A walk to the pharmacy after turning down offers of delivery options was really good for both body and soul although eating curried chicken salad at 9 pm maybe not so much.

And I MUST read the Custer battle book but maybe not as bedtime reading.

At least I avoided caffeine and restocked the chocolate side of the  future powdered milk mocha theme with hershey's syrup.

This morning's virtue: quit procrastinating and wash dishes. COPE with the revelations that stumbled out of brain in that process. STAY TUNED.

Yesterday's online worship group was LOVELY. NOTHING about my leading as far as Friends younger than 60 but gift of overcoming LOTS of geography and age-tinged travel limitations. People liked and responded interestingly to my get acquainted questions. Thank you Mt. St. Helens anniversary.

As for the unicorns barfing rainbows, a radio interview with the journalist who now does a podcast called 10% happier. If someone gets to use the phrase "barfing rainbows," I MIGHT be able to try again about things to do with mindfulness, beyond admitting that too much Buddhism / mindfulness just makes me want to punch someone. #WeirdQuakerConfessions   Oh and one of these days I need to figure out some stuff about podcasts lest anyone think I am all about zinging around in all the nuances of every technology screaming for people's attention.

ice water is just about staying hydrated and HUGE gratitude for steady water supply and handwashing options.

And it's another day of homeless camp sweep not far away. What happens to the people who get swept especially when all their possessions get hauled into dumpsters never to be seen again. The mayor was on the radio assuring everyone that there has been much previous social worker contact and people have refused services, but I dunno. I was INCREDIBLY relieved the other day when there was phone contact with a family member who is homeless in another city. I say a prayer every time that city is mentioned and I was surprised how relieved I was to learn that family member is living alone in a tent that so far has not been swept and he has not been forced into a congregate shelter.
