Garlic again. Garlic is great!
close to 6 hours after 1 until after 7. Had some pineapple juice and decided just to GO BACK TO BED. Grabbed another whole precious hour of sleep.
Lots of walking yesterday definitely helps about sleep.
Holiday festivity:
1. Various money transfer ID discharge AMA fiascoes associated with my homeless brother in Denver. He got taken to hospital because of a collapsed lung but left AMA back to a shelter. Needs money for meds. OF COURSE Mom wants to respond. I want her to call ... and see what conversations can be had. Maybe my sister will be able ...
Probably more important for emotional equilibrium to read conservative Spokane newspaper columnist I connect with on Twitter about her brother-in-law than to disconnect completely emotionally. She found wisdom in my reply tweet.
2. Help my mom get out the metal wreath manger scene, the door hanger my aunt crocheted, a couple other manger scenes, the stockings, the Santa Claus my grandmother made a long time ago. Really glad for SIMPLE this year and Mom is even resolved to try to downsize from two plastic boxes to one after the holiday..
3. More avocado and garlic before bed. Other carbs and cheese maybe not preferable but anyway the garlic is REALLY good for clearing sinuses and easing morning nasal congestion. Sliced rather than mashed.
4. Various accessibility and tech troubleshooting whines meant TWO HOURS to place a food order for event on Wednesday. Arrggh. Hard to take stuff like that to the job market whereas for vital public processes people have to put up with me because... and I still get the be super creative... Chief morale officer is relieved I am actually trying to party. The disconnect entirely is from a different thread on Twitter.
5. Suddenly realized from various Q conversations I should not lean only on Quakers but 30th anniversary of ADA presents interesting opportunities for my not so secret aspirations to world domination. Just kidding. Not going to get around to abolishing capitalism either but disability rights non-profits have the same personnel problems as other orgs so...
6. Debating between laundry and blind techies in bar. Need to congratulate someone who just finished her PhD and some of whose projects I was part of. Also REALLY need to do laundry.
