Zombie, Ratatouille


RantWoman’s Easter full moon calculator says, without consulting other resources, the full moon will be next week. That does not explain why RantWoman found it VERY easy to stay up until 4 am a couple nights ago. Apparently several neighbors had trouble sleeping as well.

 

Deadlines focus the mind. Words were flowing. Thoughts were flowing. Important thoughts that RantWoman took the chance of emitting into the universe because of a need for timeliness. RantWoman PAID FOR IT yesterday. Four hours of sleep left dark circles and not quite a zombie. RantWoman was HUMBLY grateful for a Friend who met in person. RantWoman came home from an evening meeting and did nothing except zone out, make a couple phone calls, mess some more with what she would do to make the new NYT crossword puzzle app more accessible and then went to bed early.

 

Last night RantWoman managed almost 5 plus almost 1 hours of sleep. RantWoman went to bed by 11 and woke up before 4. RantWoman assessed several indicators and decided that the physical activity of turning ingredients into several days of food was going to do more good than equivalent time spent sleeping. Good call. Ratatouille. Barley.  Another hour of sleep after and then wash socks so day still behind. But prepackaged chicken soup with Kale for lunch. Now onward!

Holy Cow. Almost 9 hours of sleep. The extravagant luxury of going back to bed and not even trying to do anything after 5.9 hours of sleep. Going to bed at a reasonable hour because of not wanting to compute in the computer lab with no AC helped.  I decided I needed to get up and eat a real breakfast after a dream involving my certainty that I needed to take a shower in a tiny restroom near a big event of some kind and then enjoying a lot of food that I found tasty and it was not clear whether others realized it was available. I probably can go all kinds of places with that. Computer lab has AC. Room where digital equity team works does not. There is some kind of switching mystery that not even one of the very wise SHA HVAC experts can solve. Nice to see the computer lab space in use. Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep. I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down. Mom's tree after all the presents were unwrapped Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.  First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents. We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that.
