Pesto and Gluten as sleep aids

Pesto and gluten: Great minds both wanted Pagliacci after worship.   Glad I went for the carbs and did not just do green salad.   Opted for no screen time except a video or two on the phone and Twitter about the bus driver shooting.     Dozed in the chair for like 2 hours and then got past 5 hours of sleep total in bed. Working in more exercise would have been good.   Laundry would have been WAY too much.   Now happy Thursday.

Trying to be consistent

Sleep tips.   Evening food: do NOT overdo.   Go to bed at a decent hour. 1 am is about the outer limit and going to bed before falling asleep is always a good idea.   Go back to bed if you wake up before 5.   Making pretty consistently over 5 hours but still not as long as I aim to.  

Holding at least 5 hours.

Night before last somewhere around 5 hours. Not tracking precisely. Should be aiming for more but hard on both ends of the night. Keep trying. Over 5 hours again. Woot.   The rest of the day beckoned.   The cat went back to sleep after breakfast.

Five hours + VIsual Field + pollen.

Blame the eye appointment.   Somewhere around 5 hours of sleep in two intervals. I would have gone back to sleep some more but I was due at eye appointment.   I always get a thrill these days just having sidewalk to get from the bus stop to the front door. The change is the result of a whole sequence of complaints to different parts of the picture. Now a lovely safe walk. No more dodging cars in the fire lane.   I hate pollen when I have to deal with visual field test. More excruciating detail available upon request. At least the tech did not fuss too much about things that always go “wrong” for me with that test.   I am feeling lazy about two bus segments I would have benefited from walking, but under a time crunch. Goal MAKE MYSELF walk more.   Time crunch is also why I will hold off on comments about bus courtesy area and all door boarding.   Sleep? Who needs sleep?

Five, Again. Need exercise routine

Somewhere near 5 hours of sleep.   Went to bed about 12:30. Woke up before 4. What’s up with that?   Went back to bed for over an hour. Woke up again and could not go back to bed because of morning schedule.   Need better exercise routine not just for aerobic effects but also to reduce / adjust some, er, fat getting in the way of things and making me dozy while sitting. Bleah! Me want treadmill desk.   Me also want to cut volume of stuff in apt by about 1/3 AND replace key pieces of furniture. Should be fun?

Five plus hours plus music

FIVE + hours of sleep in bed. Two hours off and on in the chair do not count. PARTY anyway.   Brain is still running around in the harmonies and dancing in the variations from TWO musical events, the Bach B Minor Mass and an organ recital.

Almost 6 hours; should do next...?

Another day of waking up with clarity of the form What Should One Do Next but waking up before 5.   Turns out what one should do next is Eat Breakfast and go back to bed in order to get close again to 6 hours of sleep.    

Saturday underslept

Four hours.   Not enough. Woke up hungry. Did not make it back to bed before time to go to….

Already Friday. How did that happen?

RantWoman has been holding steady at CLOSE TO about 6 hours of sleep. In bed. In the chair before bed does not count. RantWoman aims to go to bed by 1 and wakes up at 5 fairly consistently. Breakfast and then back to bed seems to be the way to hit the target. Probably a good thing to go back to bed because otherwise RantWoman would find it too easy to get stuck in some muddles.   RantWoman is on an apartment cleaning, wardrobe purging binge. The binge is not going very fast and teamwork would be on point, but…

Merry Monday

More uneven reporting.   Up and down 4+ to almost 6 hours   Leaded coffee at dinner AND Late night bowl of chili a GOOD thing actually. Go figure. Maybe it was all the exercise earlier in the day.   Needs in life   New queen size bed   New trundle or futon couch   Get rid of old furniture.   Deal with variety of electronics   About 10 2-hour increments of clean and ditch   About 1/3 of contents of apartment just go. Old papers mainly.   Figure out maybe a way to get paid help.   Maybe some more shelves but better idea just to cut amount of stuff.

Close to 5 hours night before last.   Almost 6 last night.   Too much food late though.   Happy Thursday.

A good target

Done with Whole Life challenge and not doing well about maintaining sleep effort. Last night close to 5 hours. Tonight will be less for something I need to TRY to leave alone and let mutate slowly. Bleah.

yoyo sleep pattern

Yikes   A LONG time since I posted.   Bouncing around between 3.5 and almost 6 hours of sleep. Set a tougher target for sleep in Whole Life Challenge this time. Slept more but not enough for target.   Trying to cut back on screen time late at night.   Easy still to drink water at least.
