 Of how easy it is for bad eyes to misread. At first I thought the blurb said CHRISTMAS tune. 6:02 hours of sleep. Lots of stirring around in the kitchen, and a first crack at new exercises. So much fun. Bright sunny day which I, alas did not get out and enjoy.

Keep fresh ginger in the freezer!  Also use real broth instead of the powdery stuff that comes with the package. So seriously kicked up ramen 4:24 hours of sleep. I did not go back to bed and I am glad I made it to a Zoom info session. And it's a VERY full moon tonight. Hopefully I am more than well enough caloried from all the delicious food at the memorial that my inner werewolf will not run loose like it sometimes does for the full moon.

 At first, I read this and thought WTAF. But I think there is enough I understand to imagine that this is possible. 3:58 hours of sleep. Some of new PT exercises are just do what I have been doing but add resistance. Some are completely new. COOL that I can get instructions online. in ways I can digest.

The sleep was a HUGE blessing but I barely had time for a shower, made it to the buss with dreadful bed head, and got the hair combed out and rebraided on the way to PT. And PT as always is amazing. Something about people who know exactly what motions to test and what exercises to recommend. Now I am exhausted but tomorrow....

 Who can reist a very faous chef doing mundane things, Memo to all the culinary fat phobes: it doesn't matter whether you boil or saute spinach. Apparently any form of cooking makes the calcium in calcium oxalate more bio available. This info gleaned that from one of the doctors occasionally reposted here. Mr. Pepin himself says the kind of oil / fat is not too important so readers are free to finish with whatever kind of oil they like. a full 8:02 hours of sleep. Achieved by doing laundry early and going back to bed after a banana and a big drink of water when I first woke up. Now if I can manage north of 6 hours / night several nights in a row....

Crispy Chickpeas with more tips

Bake until crisp before adding oil and spices the "agua fava (?)" makes great vegan egg white equivalent.  7:02 hours of sleep. When I sleep that long, I kind of feel like I have run a marathon. I am well aerated  but something feels sore like when I exercise a lot. Still HOPING to get to the laundry mountain even though I can still pretend / procrastinate for a few more days.

Oven Roasted chickpeas

 This concept sounds SO COOL. RantWoman may look further about a few details, but cans of chickpeas are easy to come by around here. 4:52 hours of sleep, not counting dozing off a couple times after snacks. I woke up with the usual dry mouth, itchy eyes and need to pee. Theoretically I could have gone back to bed and still made my 11 am Zoom. Zoom with blind people who are resting what vision they have is just great for showing up in meetings with bed head. I also watched A LOT of Stephen Colbert farewell, about which more at some point.

 This one just smells good! Interesting techniques 4:23 hours of sleep. Going back to bed would not have been terrible after the get up and pee and do some artificial tears.

Broccoli Rabe

 With enough spices and olive oil (and anchovies!) anything can taste better 3:56 hours of sleep. NOT EATING for several hours before bed is SO helpful. I needed to be up early enough that going back to bed was not a good idea. Not really enough walking. THe stationary bicycle is good aerobically but leads to cramping. Whine

 Yum! 5:50 hours of sleep Thank heavens I showered and washed hair last night. Two meals of leftovers from the conference. Did I mention ice cream. I need to stop buying ice cream and search on yogurt brands.

 Kilauea Mother nature blowing her stack? SO many reasons 4:08 hours of sleep. And I even went to bed early enough to get more sleep than that. Day 1 of conference. I think the person smoking disgusting substances overhead is opening windows. Either that or I am noticing because I have not been home in early evening much. DISGUSTING. The person should be flogged or at least busted.

Up early enough to shower AND do dishes

The trees scene at 6ish am 5:08 hours of sleep. I went to bed early on purpose to see about more hours total. Nah.   But I did get dishes done and the timeline survived a minor bus route because of some kind of fire issue as well as a collision.   Between day of apparently not diplomacy in China and some stupid kids playing with guns--but mercifully not hitting anything, It's a day of wanting volcano eruptions and cat vids. MEOW.

Late afternoon sun  5:10 hours in bed and falling asleep every time I sit down especially after a meal. I miss my mom!

World looks much better after a respectable amount of sleep  6:40 hours of sleep in bed not counting 2 hours dozing in chair after I got home from being a very feel fed and well conversed zombie with K and I Onward now to stuff I would LOVE to keep procrastinating about.

  How the world looks at 5 am +/- including whatever the phone does automatically The moon was full. So was the YouTube. So no sleep in bed and instead wash hair, doze in chair, Go to memorial. Make it through whole service without bawling about my own mother. Not sleeping is REALLY bad for arthritis and ease of getting around. SIGH. But it was a gorgeous sunny day and a good day to go see friends in Lynnwood. I may have been a zombie, but I was a sunbathed zombie Posted with a retroactive date.
