 I didn't even look up the translation of this chant but maybe some chant will be a good thing for the day as the world is on pins and needles about the latest threats from President #StableGenius


5:12 hours of sleep.

The Amazon order, BOTH parts arrived close to the beginning of the window so I did not have to worry about ice cream melting all afternoon.

Of course, if one decides that ice cream is a vital addition to lunch, that can be another way not to worry about it melting inappropriately.

Bananas arrived unscathed but of course too ripe. Such first world problems

Sleep the final frontier. In bed about 1.   Sudoku anyone?   I am a grownup. I did not HAVE to start the second puzzle.   Up before 6.   5 ish hours and I cannot go back to bed both because of the impending floor stripping and waxing in my hall and because I have a meeting at 10 and have to allow travel time.   Also headache. Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
