The origin of FISH STICKS!

Here's the deal: I love the history lesson. In the abstract a precise discussion of knives and an elaborate fish sticks prep process sound interesting. I probably would never make fish sticks this way.

 In this case though, the Korean lunch program next door is either having some kind of kitchen calamity or a don't mess with people's comfort food experience. Either way, I need to imagine clean frying oil and well-prepared fish instead of the current experience.


3:50 hours of sleep

Six loads of laundry done and all socks hung to dry. BUt I started late and went to bed at 4 am. But I woke up at the usual time with dry mouth and need to pee. 

Also legs hurt so I had ibuprofen with the morning banana and fell asleep in chair after breakfast.

MUST get dishes washed and start making incremental progress on declutter.

Oh, and then there is the news timeline.

Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
