Contraforte: remade contrabassoon

 Fun to know instruments are still being improved. One of my dad's bassoonist friends had a contrabassoon. The contraforte is just a lot less farty than contrabassoons on Youtube.It's in FRENCH




5:22 hours of sleep.

Amazing what happens when one goes to bed at a reasonable hour.

Very satisfying to turn a bunch of ingredients into turkey rice tofu vegetable stew. Enough probably for a whole week


On a different note

I HATE THIS ARTHRITIS SHIT. Exhausting to totoe home a gallon of distilled water.

Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
