Lemon oats CAKE?

The most delicious lemon oat cake! No sugar, no flour—pure indulgence!


CPAP machine says 2:56 hours of sleep. I think it was a little more but it was definitely also a from when to when issue.

I made it up in time for a couple phone visits and hair washing before heading out to party.

Party was lovely. Gorgeous day. Enough lively conversations. TASTY low sugar banana bread. LOVELY giant piece of salmon.

Then off to see Moma at hospital.

Bad news. She needs to be in hospital. Good news after first round with paramedics taking her to Overlake she is now at Capital Hill where it is MUCH easier to visit.

Also entertaining to see how inpatient and outpatient observation are executed presumably under new Medicare cost cutting rules. Arrrrrgggggh!

Sleep the blog

There is a Chekhov short story called Sleepy, Спать хочется where the main character spends most of the story fighting sleep and the things that keep her from sleeping. In the novel "Oblomov" by Nikolai Goncharov, it takes the main character 50 pages to decide to get out of bed. RantWoman falls somewhere between these two poles. This blog is dedicated to sleep, particularly RantWoman and sleep. RantWoman needs to sleep more than she does. RantWoman does not always manage to do things that probably would help her sleep more.
