Earworm of the week, again, because that is the point of the earworm thing  5:52 hours of sleep. Biggest accomplishments: I wanted a slice of the month special pizza. Lovely journey there but come back on Friday. I fetched a gallon of distilled water AND dragged it all the way home. I NEED A SHOPPING CART. Grieving sucks. Today it was flashbacks of Mom's deathbed.

Who Knew? Marilyn Manson has covered this Johny cash song several times.  Tell me it's weird to make this the earworm of the week for holy week. Guess what! COPE! This song is dedicated to the Secretary of #WarCrimes, to his pastor who is being even more Rah-rah violence, and to Pope Leo attempted to spank the warmongers.  5:52 hours of sleep. I has THANGS TO SAY. Shower for the first time in longer than usual and shampoo. Grazed simply from the fridge. Probaby not enough exercise. Tomorrow....

Must review this video. After a whole day of getting really tired standing and various aches and pains coming and going, MUST see what this video has to offer  4:45 hours of sleep. Up in time theoretically for ribbon cutting at new Light rail station. MAYBE, If I had chosen the right entrance. After standing around for over an hour, I bagged the initial departure, ran an errand and then had TWO rides, one across the lake and one back. Traine was CRAMMED at every door. I am exhausted and problems catching the 8 home did not help. I finally just went to Grocery Outlet and then home. ADAPTATION.

Any set of tips that includes "drink more water" sounds great to me. Reality is I am skimming through lots of videos and hopefully will remember to come back and review from time to time.  4:45 hours of sleep. I bounded out of bed early-ish to make sure I could get in a phone call to the sleep clinic. Run around involved but I scored a virtual appointment with a Nurse practitioner at the end of MAY. Also washed dishes, took out trash, collected a thumb drive of service and other info from sister... And made steel cut oats and almond porridge ahead for SIX servings. Activity seemed actually to help about ouches.

  5:45 hours of sleep In bed early and awake early enough to shower before heading out to an in-person meeting. Happily, a NICE neighborhood store near meeting where I could buy the onions and potatoes that were not forthcoming last night from the world of Amazon Now. Day was cold enough to need many layers in the morning but shirt sleeve weather by afternoon. ALWAYS grateful for SUN.

Posted so I will look at the video again and MAYBE absorb some tips. 6:2? hours of sleep. WHO KNOWS why I thought it would be cool to try to fall asleep without my CPAP, especially after I just filled the water bin. Other than that, not enough exercise yesterday. Next week the Tuesday night / Wednesday morning thing I zoom at in Kyiv will be back on regularly schedule. COOKING today: need to finish up the carob chick pea brownie exercise tomorrow but in person meeting in the morning that I have to get up earlier for.

Ummm. Lots of days I eat one hard-boiled egg with whatever fiber rich porridge I have made for the week. Will I change the egg frequency? Will I eat more lentil brownies for breakfast or save that for later???? Stay tuned  3:54 hours in bed and not counting falling asleep earlier AND again after getting up. NICE day of walking yesterday though I did need late afternoon to take some ibuprofen.

 A wholesome diversion from all the things one needs to be diverted from. 6:18 hours of sleep. Errand in the sun Leg mostly held up and eating hazel nuts seemed to sooth spasms without drugs. Some bits of cooking or starts to cooking. Floor grime awaits. So do other chores. Grieving sucks. In some ways it is worse after the memorial, or at least I find more times to cry. Mlllheahhh I GUESS one is supposed to appreciate waking up and learning that President #StableGenius has decided to hold off on some of the lunacy he has been threatening.

I don't understand pancakes for breakfast because warm carbs are supposed to settle the body for sleep. But never mind. A recipe can't go wrong if it has real buttermilk in it.  6:45 hours of sleep. Grieving is EXHAUSTING. I could still have slept longer. Also wrapping my head around Mom as poster child for asymptomatic COVID transmission.

  5:?? hours of sleep. This is called getting to bed in time for decent sleep and still getting up in time to shower before heading out to MEMORIAL. I am tired and blessed and that is enough for now.

It is reassuring and soothing before sleep to consider how one animal can work wonders  I wonder how many other problems we could just let beavers handle Also, why we should NEVER rely only on current knowledge such as it is, no matter how much AI chews on it. Sleep was not particularly a happening thing, unless one counts besides the 1.5 hours of trying to sleep in bed and falling asleep repeatedly before and after going to bed. Anyway, I gave up, decided to get up and make a few days worth of porridge., corn, cashews dried cherries, cheddar cheese, powdered buttermilk, and a little bit of red pepper sauce. I also washed dishes, went out to buy bananas and had conversations...

 Here we are. Entertain us. Oops. Wrong centuries? 4:44 hours of sleep. Accomplishments today: 2 Zoom meetings including one that generated an automated crash report and the need to migrate to my phone roast some potatoes and yams. Also burn out the oven light, but who cares? deal with some paperwork. long chat who generously let me babble about things on just cannot say IN a memorial.   Answer one senior citizen tech support question by telling the senior to call the library for info about reading library e books. So I am practically in virtue land.

  5:52 hours of sleep Exactly 2 months since Mom died. I am still a raggedy mess. It's SO hard to let someone you love go. And Bible Study, James 4 1-12 reminds me why I am SO glad for Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.

If you are not into meat AT ALL, skip the video and just scroll to the sleep report  5ish hours of sleep. I FINALLY got a bunch of laundry done. There is still more around the edges of course. Also, I gave up on folding and fully stowing and just WENT TO BED. Wise move I think. Other accomplishments yesterday. --Do my customary tweaks to a new pair of Orthofeet shoes --research legacy.com  --Finish another draft of an obit before deciding that probably most of the world does not need all of what we have written. The singing is gorgeous. I did not even look up what the lyrics mean. I think that is in the video description  4:29 hours of sleep. I THINK I am glad I decided to sleep instead of just going to do laundry. CPAP had plenty of water. I breathed deeply and slept well but of course I would have slept longer if I had gone to bed earlier.

Much work on obituary and HOEPFULLY not too near nuclear family meltdown. Elevator elevator. But a round of laundry fetching and toting for a neighbor is going to have to do for exercise. And MAYBE the enforced going to bed early will get me over the DST adjustment. Anyway, considering all the ways the world is blowing up, elevators be damned. Oh look. A good for me osteoporosis related video. Exercises DO seem to help about the arthritis. Now of course to take care of the bones too. 4:?? hours of sleep. We will not discuss from when to when. I am still vexed by family dramas as I try to fall asleep. But I am glad I did not succumb to the thought of doing laundry VERY early in the morning or of rushing off to the co-op for a real breakfast burrito. Happy Tuesday

The origin of FISH STICKS!

Here's the deal: I love the history lesson. In the abstract a precise discussion of knives and an elaborate fish sticks prep process sound interesting. I probably would never make fish sticks this way.  In this case though, the Korean lunch program next door is either having some kind of kitchen calamity or a don't mess with people's comfort food experience. Either way, I need to imagine clean frying oil and well-prepared fish instead of the current experience. 3:50 hours of sleep Six loads of laundry done and all socks hung to dry. BUt I started late and went to bed at 4 am. But I woke up at the usual time with dry mouth and need to pee.  Also legs hurt so I had ibuprofen with the morning banana and fell asleep in chair after breakfast. MUST get dishes washed and start making incremental progress on declutter. Oh, and then there is the news timeline.
