Virtual church x 3

About six hours of sleep.

I should have gone back to bed. CPAP is a little bit of a workout but I think that will settle down.

Christmas with the fam went brilliantly.

First there was a chauffeur schedule that left me time to talk to Mom about latest non-locating of my brother while nephew fetched his parents.

We did snack food and did not even attempt anything complex in Mom's "one-butt kitchen" Little Sister brought Little Smokies, one pan in a sauce I did not expect to tolerate made of commercial BBQ sauce and grape jelly. Little sister brought rolls and fruit salad. I brought crackers, cream cheese, beet chips and celery the latter of which I think I was the only one eating. So the rest of the bunch gets sauted and frozen for soup.  I brought yams to microwave if anyone wanted but kitchen logistics clobbered that. And we finished with mandarins and no one even wanted cookies and ice cream. Mostly I am SO GLAD Mom does not feel she as to do a big meal anymore.

Presents were all a hit. Santa Claus had done NOTHING at my house but I managed to make quite suitable prezzies of many things on hand.

I went to church online 3 times last night. Interesting thematic overlap and dissimilarities.

Okay, virtual church was not only COVID and weather but also bad vision in crowds. Even with Fam so much I miss. But I have more than enough grieving people in my life over this holiday and the eyes are the eyes and it was still a good party.

And I don't know whether my nephew tells his mother all the things he tells me. He says his off roading buddies are all antivaxxers and he thinks it works great because everyone is in their own bubble. His mother nags him to get boosted. So did his auntie. Ah COVID!
